Snake Skin Make Up

Make up Monday is here, so I have another fun look to show you. Created this snake skin look. So keep reading if you want to know more..

Zebra Make Up

For this post I created a zebra. Hopefully this will inspire and help you to create this.

Sea Creatures

Recently I had a family trip to the beach. We went to Sutton beach in Dublin. It is such a lovely beach the best I have been to in Ireland. Noah loved the beach just like me, and I got inspired to do some sea crafts with Noah.
So the aim as always with doing arts and crafts with Noah is to teach him new things.
For this I mainly used coloured paper, PVA glue, poster paints and more.
The best place that I get my crafts from is ARTS&HOBBY.

Mermaid Make Up

Starting this week with the sea theme. I finally did a mermaid look.
I went a little extra with this look. So some pictures do contain boob cleavage.

Ice cream cone prints

Fun summer art for the kiddies.

Did these the other day with Noah. He is ice cream cone mad so this was great fun for him.

Burn scalp cap

This was such a quick fun look to create.

I honestly can not take credit for the idea, I seen it somewhere and I can't remember who it was that did it. But if you know let me know. So I can credit their technique.

But read more on how I created the burn scalp cap.

Deer make up look

For today's Monday make up look, I did a cute deer and then I added a bit of effect to make it look more gruesome.
Keep reading to see how I did it.

Maleficent makeup look

So I have finally watched Maleficent. Not only was it a great movie, but I actually had to try Angelina Jolie's character look. Her 'evil' look really had me inspired. I did this look with no wax, just everyday make up. Most people would have used a wax to achieve the raised cheekbones. But I wanted to show people you can also achieve the look by using everyday make up. Trying to do this simple and easy as possible.

Animal Handprints

Following my last post on my visit to Dublin Zoo. Me and Noah did some fun hand print animals.

I honestly loved how these turned out, and Noah had so much fun doing them. As like most toddlers he likes doing handprint art. But he didnt expect them to turn out into his favourite zoo animals.

Festival look turned Zombie

So I know my blog is mainly crafts, but I have wanted to branch into a bit of make up. So hopefully every Monday will be 'MAKE UP MONDAY'.

I haven't done special effects make up in nearly a year shocking, because it is my favourite make up to do. Seeing that is Monday, and I was feeling more motivated than usual I decided to do my make up, with a twist.

I am loving the festival/ hippy looks at the moment with the white dotted look. So I did it.

Keep reading to see how I did both these looks.

Paper Mache Elephant

So I have a new craft obsession which is paper mache. I got this idea as I wanted to make my mother a fabulous present. After doing research and a lot of planning, I finally made a medium sized baby elephant. It literally cost me nothing to make this elephant. This was the first time I constructed something in this scale in paper mache and I am so happy to finally share this with everyone. I will be doing a lot more paper mache posts. But here anyway is how I created the baby elephant.

Paper Mache Pineapple

My new favourite craft, paper mache. This is the first of many paper mache things I have made.
I am so excited to share it. Perfect for decorating your home. Or as a party decoration like a beach/tropical theme.
Seeing that summer is close this can also be fun craft for toddlers and children to create.

Easter Crafts

As many people do I got these idea's on Pinterest. I am always doing arts and crafts with my son, who is 2. Doing art and craft with Noah is great and creating things is so exciting for him.

Seen that Easter is just around the corner myself and Noah had fun with lots of Easter art.

For Easter chicks I got Noah to do blobs of yellow paint all over page, and I painted beaks and eyes on them.

I drew Noah an Easter egg, and let him go crazy with paint and I think it looks amazing.

Finally Noah doesn't freak out with having paint on his hands. So I painted the palm of his hand white, his index finger and ring finger. Then printed his hand on blue paper. Adding touches of pink paint for the bunny's ears and nose. When the paint was dry, with a felt tip pen I drew eyes, mouth and whiskers.

Carrot foot prints, painting both mine and Noahs feet with orange paint and stepping on white paper. Once paint is dry I cut around the foot prints in a carrot shape. Then cutting green leaves for carrot and gluing them on.

I love hand print, foot print art, they great keepsakes. Can be great for sentimental gifts, or cards.

Banana Pancake Reciepe

So for this super cold January Monday morning I decide to make some banana pancakes.January is my new health kick month (as well as most peoples). I find myself doing nothing but eating right, working out and staying away from the cold.
